What do you call a person that owns land?
A landowner is a person who owns land, especially a large amount of land. We are land owners. Currently in Southeast Georgia in a quiet little town, we own 72 acres. With owning this amount of land it comes with a lot of responsibility. Our wishes for this property is to improve the overall quality of the natural resources. One of our primary objectives for the property is timber and wildlife management. Soil and water quality protection are also important for forest resources including the aesthetics and recreational opportunities.
Having this property is what prompted me to start the blog Simply Explore Nature. I’m excited to show you the wildlife, native plants, and what our plans are for the property.
